Group housing schemes are made up of small blocks of one-bedroom flats or bungalows grouped around a central common room.
Sheltered housing schemes consist of housing with communal facilities within one building.

About Sheltered Housing
We have sheltered housing schemes. Each of these have two Scheme Managers who look after the scheme and give residents the support they needs to stay independent.
About Group Housing
Our Group Housing schemes are made up of small blocks of one-bedroom flats or bungalows grouped around a central common room. Unlike Sheltered Housing, the properties are not all under one roof.
Broomhill, Clematis Approach and Sorrel Court
Broomhill, Clematis Approach and Sorrel Court are grouped housing schemes, which offer supported housing for older people. The schemes are in the south of the city on the older part of the Birchwood Estate.
St. Clements Court and Lillicrap Court
St Clement’s Court is twinned with another block of flats just across the lane, Lillicrap Court. Both are in Chapel Lane, which is in the oldest and most historic part of the city.
Lenton Green
Lenton Green is one of the council’s group housing schemes. The scheme is in the north of the city in the long-established neighbourhood of Ermine.
Tom Ward Court and Kingsley Street
Tom Ward Court is twinned with two developments of flats in nearby Kingsley Street. Both locations are in the popular area of Burton Road, which is on the fringe of the oldest and most historic part of the city.
Risby Green
Risby Green is one of our group housing schemes that offers supported housing for older people. The scheme is in the south of the city in the popular neighbourhood of Hartsholme.
St. Botolph's Court
St. Botolph’s Court is a sheltered housing scheme that offers supported housing for older people. The scheme is in the centre of the city on the High Street.
Derek Miller Court
Derek Miller Court is a sheltered housing scheme that offers supported housing for older people. The scheme is in the West End of the city on Newland Street West.
De Wint Court
De Wint Court is a Sheltered Housing Scheme that offers supported housing for older people. The scheme is in the Boultham area of the city, just off De Wint Avenue.
