Lincoln crematorium
About the crematorium
Lincoln Crematorium was opened in 1968. It is situated on Washingborough Road to the South East side of the city, post code LN4 1EF. The landscaped grounds also incorporate a Garden of Remembrance. You can download a map of the locations here.
The Chapel is located within the main crematorium building. Facilities include:
- Waiting room
- Vestry
- Disabled toilets
- Public Reception
- Induction loop system
- Parking facilities (please be aware that these can get busy when there are numerous services taking place)
We can also remove or replace Religious symbols from the wall as appropriate and the Chapel is equipped to play specially requested tapes or compact discs.
Contacting us about cremation services
Cremation services take place Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Your Funeral Director will be able to help you with arranging a cremation. You can also contact us directly by using our online bereavement services enquiry form.

- Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm
- Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Book of Remembrance
The Book of Remembrance room is located opposite the main crematorium building and is open at the following times:
- Monday to Thursday, 9am - 4.30pm
- Friday, 9am - 4pm
- Saturday, 10am - 4pm
- Sunday, 2pm - 4pm
- Mother’s Day, 10am - 4pm
- Father’s Day, 10m - 4pm
- Easter Sunday, 10am - 4pm
A member of staff is on hand to accommodate requests for turning the pages of the Book of Remembrance on Sundays, except where Christmas Day falls on a Sunday.
