Advice on searching

You can enter values in more than one field if required and the search will return any application meeting all the search criteria. Note that you cannot search using the Proposal field alone, at least one other criteria must be supplied.

None of the fields are case sensitive so an entry of “HIGH”, “High” or “high” will return the same results.

Searching on an address can be undertaken using one or a combination of the individual Property Number, Property Name, Street and Postcode fields. This will produce the quickest results. If you search on a street name this will bring back all applications for ‘land at…’ or ‘land to the rear of…’ that specific street. 

Postcodes should be entered in full with spaces, e.g. SK1 3XE (not SK13XE). Dates can be selected by either clicking on the calendar button, or typing in the format “DD-MM-YYYY”, e.g. 21-03-2002.

To ensure accurate results when searching on dates received please complete both the ‘To’ and ‘From’ date fields.  If you do not enter either a ‘To’ or a ‘From’ date this will default to today’s date. e.g. If you select today’s date in the Date Application Received ‘From’ using the calendar and leave the ‘To’ data blank - the ‘To’ date will be completed with today’s date returning all applications received today.
