Improvements to your home

Our programme of planned improvements ensure that your home is kept in a good condition and that it meets the decent homes standard.

  • We will contact you in advance to let you know if we are intending on doing works to your home. 
  • If we need to undertake any planned improvements this year we will send you a letter at the beginning of the financial year (around April). 
  • If we need to undertake any servicing or inspection work to your home we will contact you to let you know when we will be visiting to do these.      

Improvements could include:

  • Replacement kitchen
  • Replacement bathroom

  • Replacement windows

  • Electrical improvements

  • Heating system upgrades 

  • Replacement boilers

  • Replacement roof coverings

  • Replacement external doors to the property or communal entrance 

  • Environmental and communal improvements

Planned maintenance is work that we undertake to maintain the overall condition of our properties.  

Maintenance to your home

This normally takes place every seven years and includes:

  • External redecoration of your home or block of flats

  • Internal decoration of communal areas, such as stairwells and entrance halls

We do not paint the inside of your home.
