Help for domestic abuse victims

If you are a victim of domestic abuse there are a number of schemes and services that can help you.

The Sanctuary Scheme

The Sanctuary Scheme helps to assist victims of domestic abuse by offering security improvements to allow you to remain in your own home. We work closely with the Lincolnshire Police Crime Reduction Team, who will ‘risk assess’ a home and recommend alterations or additions to the physical security of the property. This may include providing additional security measures such as:

  • Window locks
  • Front and back door locks
  • Fire safety equipment
  • Alarms

This scheme is available in all types of housing, including private ownership, privately rented or social housing.

To access the Sanctuary Scheme call 01522 873787.
