To use this service you will need:
- A touchtone telephone
- Your account or reference number, and a
- Debit or Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Electron, Maestro International, Visa Purchasing and JCB)
You should also have a pen and paper ready to note your transaction reference number.
Just call the Automated Phone Payments Line on 01522 873666 and you will be led through a series of simple prompts. Calls are charged at a local rate and your account will be credited in two to three working days.
Your transaction will take place within a secure payment system. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, a standard supported by most major Internet browsers. All of your personal and card details are protected using 128 bit encryption, when transmitted over the internet.
Your card details are stored on a server behind a secure firewall. Only authorised personnel may access this information.
Data stored and transmitted to the council is certified completely secure, confidential and your details will not be used for any other purpose.
