Neighbourhood Working

Our primary purpose is to work in partnership with residents, local businesses and organisations to deliver creative, innovative solutions to identified issues within that community. We do this by forming Neighbourhood Boards or forums where issues and ideas can be openly discussed. We then engage with the wider community to create a Neighbourhood Plan for your local area.

We want to ensure that the provision of services is based around actual need to address disadvantage across the city. Our remit covers everything that contributes to a happy, healthy neighbourhood so we are in a unique position to piece together all the evidence to form a complete picture of the needs and opportunities in that area.

There are three Neighbourhood Teams that cover the City of Lincoln. Each team has a Neighbourhood Manager, a Neighbourhood Caretaker and an administrator.

  • Neighbourhood Working Central Team CentralCentral covers the areas of Monks Road, Tower Estate, Stamp End, Sincil Bank and Bracebridge.
  • Neighbourhood Working North Team NorthNorth covers the areas of St Giles, Glebe, Ermine East and Ermine West.
  • Neighbourhood Working South Team SouthSouth covers the areas of Birchwood and Moorland.
