City of Lincoln Council’s Executive will consider proposals for a 42-home affordable housing scheme off Rookery Lane next week.
At a meeting on 17 March, members of the Executive will discuss plans which are set to be deliberated by the council’s planning committee later this month.
If approved, this development would enable the construction of high-quality sustainable housing to contribute towards meeting the needs of Lincoln’s residents.
The proposed scheme would deliver a range of family homes, comprising two, three and four-bedroom houses, as well as two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom flats.
All of these homes would be let at affordable rents to meet the needs of local residents, and all lettings for the housing would be made under the council’s allocations policy.
Subject to planning permission being granted and funding being available, it is anticipated that the development would start on site during Summer 2021, with scheduled completion by December 2022.
