Sunday 4th June 2017 in Lincoln at 11am
The Macmillan 5K is a walking event organised by Macmillan Cancer Research Charity, Co-operative and the City of Lincoln Council. It will be held on Sunday 4th June beginning at 11am in the Arboretum on Monks Road.
The route will include starting at one of the scenic parks in Lincoln known as the Arboretum and our walkers will then follow the River Witham to the Brayford Pool area and into the University of Lincoln Campus. Our walkers will then walk back to the town centre through the Stonebow and will enjoy a historic walk up Steep Hill before finishing at Lincoln Castle.
Alternative routes will be provided for wheelchair users and walkers with pushchairs, for more information on these routes please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event is free to register for and online registration has now closed. Limited places may be available on the day. A gift bag and a bottle of water will be provided for the walkers at the end of the walk within the Castle Grounds. The expected times for the walk to be completed are between 1 hour to 90 minutes..
We would also like to advise walkers that no dogs are allowed to attend this walk except assistance dogs. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
