Looking for something to do this summer holiday? Keep your little ones entertained in a series of events at one of Lincoln’s most popular parks.
Explore Hartsholme Country Park for a closer look at the creepy crawlies residing at the site at an event on Tuesday, August 4. There will be a cost of £2.50 for Bug Hunt, which will run from 1pm to 3pm.
This year’s Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday, August 9 from 11am until 4pm. The event will feature a bouncy castle, live music, face painting, chainsaw sculpting and much more.
Some charges for activities may apply but most will be free of charge.
Conservation Ranger Douglas Hart, said: “Now that the great British summer is here there’s no better time to visit one of Lincoln’s most popular parks! We’re hosting all kinds of activities this year - from bug hunts to bottle rocket launches there’s something for everybody.
“Make sure you don’t miss out on our two biggest events - the annual Family Fun Day and Magna Carta Treasure Hunt.”
There’s still time to get involved in celebrations for the Magna Carta 800th anniversary - the Magna Carta Treasure Hunt will run from Thursday, August 20 until Saturday, August 22 from noon until 4pm.
There will be a cost of £2.50 for this event.
