Registration for the Lincolnshire Energy Switch scheme is open for 2019 to give you competitive deals on your energy bill.
All you need to do is register using your annual gas or electricity statement or bills at www.lincoln.gov.uk/switch.
Following registration, energy suppliers are invited to take part in an auction to bid against each other to offer you the best deal on your energy. The winning supplier will be the one that makes the lowest offer in price.
The scheme is open to everyone, regardless of what energy source you use and how you pay for it.
Kate Bell, Housing Strategy Officer (Regeneration) at City of Lincoln Council, said: “We’re pleased to welcome back the Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme to offer our residents unbeatable deals on their energy.
“If you’re thinking of registering, there will be nothing to lose as there is no obligation to change supplier – it’s just a great opportunity to see if you’re getting the most for your money with your current supplier.
“Thousands of people have switched their energy across Lincolnshire and have saved hundreds of pounds on their energy bills already.
“Why not register today to see how much you could save?”
The scheme is organised by Greater Lincolnshire Energy Efficiency Network (GLEEN) and is administered by the UK’s leading collective switching expert, iChoosr Ltd.
The closing date for registrations is 20 May 2019. For more information and to register, visit www.lincoln.gov.uk/switch or call 0800 048 8285.
