The City of Lincoln council’s total GHG emissions have reduced since the 2008/09 baseline by 35 per cent. This is as a result of a number of projects carried out across the council which have contributed to reduction in energy use. The council are continuing to explore opportunities to reduce green house gas emissions as part of the council’s strategic priority to reduce Lincoln’s carbon footprint.
