Council Tax Consultations
The City of Lincoln Council is considering the Council Tax Support (CTS) Scheme for April 2026 – March 2027.
Before deciding on the scheme, we are required in legislation to consult with any person we consider are likely to have an interest in the operation of the scheme, but more than that, we really want to hear your views.
The consultation period ends on 19th November 2025. Councillors to the authority will decide the final shape of the Council Tax Support Scheme for 2026/27 when they meet in January 2026. As soon as possible after this final decision, the full details of our scheme will be put on our website www.lincoln.gov.uk.
We would like the views from residents whether they get Council Tax Support or not to ensure that we make an informed decision.
