We are responsible for the management and grounds maintenance of five cemeteries within the city.
Burials
Burials can take place on any weekday, except on Bank/Public Holidays. Please talk to your funeral director to discuss any specific needs or contact us directly on 01522 873 646, by email to bereavement.services@lincoln.gov.uk, or by using our online ‘Contact us’ form.
Cremated Remains Burials
New plots for the burial of cremated remains (ashes) are currently available for purchase at Canwick, Newport and Long Leys Cemeteries by contacting us directly.
Please note, the scattering of ashes is not permitted at any of our cemeteries.
