Families across Lincoln are invited to roll up their sleeves and get creative this February half-term with a series of hands-on Love Birds events, celebrating National Nest Box Week and helping to support local wildlife.

Hosted by City of Lincoln Council’s Park Rangers at three of the city’s much-loved green spaces, the interactive sessions give children the chance to build their own bird box and create a bird feeder to take home.

The activities will help provide vital shelter and food for birds, while encouraging young people to learn more about the natural world in a fun and practical way.

The workshops are designed to be engaging, educational and suitable for children, making them an ideal half-term activity for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together.
