How to find us

Where are we?

Located in the beautiful Cathedral Quarter, the Visitor Information centre is ideally situated between Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle. Just steps away from car parks, coach drop off points and bus stops, we are easy to get to and in the heart of independent shopping and eateries.

We are easy to spot being a black and white Tudor building called Leigh Pemberton House, an attraction in itself!

Come in and view the stunning original historic timbers built in 1543 during the reign of Henry VIII.

Did you know?

The Lincoln Visitor Information Centre was styled as a printer’s shop as part of the film set for British director Mike Leighs film Peterloo released in 2018.

Lincoln is no stranger to the film industry, having previously seen a multi-million-pound Hollywood film, the Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks part filmed in Lincoln. Lincoln Cathedral was one of the main locations standing in as Westminster Abbey.

2018 saw filming again in the Lincoln Cathedral Quarter area for the Brad Pitt produced Netflix movie, The King. More recently in 2022 Lincoln Cathedral was transformed into the Notre-Dame in Paris for the filming of Ridley Scott's film, Napoleon.
