Housing Benefit Landlord Portal

Financial rollover on Monday 1st April will mean the My Account systems are unavailable.  Until completed you may not be able to view information for Council Tax, Council Tax Support or Housing Benefit in our My Accounts online log in.

If you cannot submit a Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Support claim, please email benefits@lincoln.gov.uk to register an interest to claim, we can then advise when you can submit the claim.

Council Tax online forms will also not work during key times.

We are pleased to announce Housing Benefit Landlord Portals for the City of Lincoln Council and North Kesteven District Council. These are two separate portals, therefore, if you have tenants/properties in both areas, you will need to request a link and a unique code for each portal.

Each Landlord portal has the following features:

You will be able to check your payments by logging in at a time convenient to you, where you will be able to view 3 years of data. You will be able to download information into a CSV format. Therefore, once you have received a payment into your bank account, you can easily view and download the details regarding the payment from the portal. We will no longer send out schedules via email or in the post. This improves the security of the data for you, your tenants, and the Council.

You will be able to view the housing benefit status of your tenants, as well as view notification letters regarding their Housing Benefits. We will notify you by email when these are uploaded to the portal. (Please see note below about requesting email notifications to your employees)  

You will be able to report changes through the portal.

You will be able to maintain your own users/employees.

In order to register for this service, you will need to request a unique code as follows-

Send an Email to  revenuessupportteam@Lincoln.Gov.UK

Please include in your email – your name/company name and address, and a contact telephone number for enquiries. Please tell us which portal/s you want access to.  

We will use this information for verification purposes and if satisfied we will post a unique code to you. You will need to download the form on the link below, complete this including the unique code and email this back to us at revenuessupportteam@Lincoln.Gov.UK  .

Note - You will be able to add your own users within the portal to log in, but if you want those users to receive emails regarding new uploads you need to email revenuessupportteam@lincoln.gov.uk after you have set them up.

All personal data will be processed by City of Lincoln Council and North Kesteven District Council (the Shared Revenues and Benefits Service) in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation including UK GPDR and the Data Protection Act 2018.  You must take steps to ensure that your own use of this data is in accordance with these Laws. Any suspected abuse of this data will result in suspension from the Landlord Portal, pending an investigation and may result in criminal prosecution
