Flyposting
Flyposting is the illegal attaching of stickers and signs, usually unapproved advertising for commercial interests. It can create a negative impression of an area and contributes to people’s fear of crime.
If flyposting is present in your area, spoiling highway street signs, bridges, or buildings, use our online form - you will need to select "Report litter or other street cleansing issue".
You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Location details
- Nature of the material
- If it’s offensive or a minor nuisance
- Any other useful information
The report will then be considered, and the information used to determine who will be responsible for removing the flyposting; i.e. if on private land, the landowner will need to be asked to remove the problem at their own expense.
