Flyposting
Flyposting is the illegal attaching of stickers and signs, usually unapproved advertising for commercial interests. It can create a negative impression of an area and contributes to people’s fear of crime.
If flyposting is present in your area, spoiling highway street signs, bridges or buildings, use our online form - you will need to select "Report litter or other street cleansing issue".
You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Location details
- Nature of the material
- If it’s offensive or a minor nuisance
- Any other useful information
The report will then be considered and the information used to determine who will be responsible for removing the flyposting, i.e. if on private land, the landowner will need to be asked to remove the problem at their own expense.
