Remembrance Day Service

A person in a black coat that can only be seen from waist down holding a wreath of red poppy flowers.

From this year onwards, City of Lincoln Council, in conjunction with the Royal British Legion, will hold its annual Remembrance Service on Armistice Day itself.

The service will take place at the Lincoln War Memorial on the High Street, starting at approximately 10.15am, giving residents, visitors and organisations the opportunity to come together to remember and honour those who have served, and continue to serve, in the Armed Forces.

A civic procession, led by Lincoln’s Town Crier, will leave the Guildhall at 10.40am and travel down the High Street to the War Memorial. The procession will include the Mayor of Lincoln and Civic Party, councillors, other civic representatives and Military representatives, alongside invited guests.

Date: 11th November 2026.
