Local Validation List
Current adopted Local Validation Lists (in force)
The Central Lincolnshire authorities of West Lindsey, North Kesteven, and City of Lincoln have worked jointly to develop Local Validation Lists following the adoption of the 2023 Central Lincolnshire Local Plan to ensure a consistent approach is applied, linking directly with the requirements set out in the adopted Local Plan.
The Local Validation Lists below are currently adopted and are used by City of Lincoln Council to ensure that planning applications are accompanied by the necessary information at the point of submission, helping to avoid delays in validation.

Local Validation List Review – Consultation 2026
Consultation closed
The public consultation on proposed updates to the Central Lincolnshire Local Validation Lists closed on Sunday 7 June 2026.
The Central Lincolnshire Authorities are currently reviewing all representations received and preparing a consultation summary report, including responses to the issues raised.
Until any revised Local Validation Lists are formally adopted, the current adopted Local Validation Lists remain in force and continue to apply to planning applications.
