Angela Andrews - Chief Executive and Town Clerk
The Chief Executive and Town Clerk’s Directorate provides a range of frontline services, including Customer Services, Work-Based Learning, Civic and International Partnerships and Democratic Services and elections.
A number of important back office functions are also within the Chief Executive’s Directorate, such as finance, revenues and benefits, communications and policy.
Simon Walters - Director for Communities and Environment
The Directorate of Communities and Environment covers a wide range of services from maintaining parks, open spaces and allotments, to regulatory services including planning, food safety, licensing and environmental protection.
This directorate also covers more community-based activities like sport and leisure and events – including Lincoln Christmas Market.
In addition to this, one of the directorate’s biggest services is refuse collection and recycling, as well as looking after the city’s car parks. Other vital services include CCTV and public protection.
Bob Ledger - Director for Housing and Regeneration
The authority owns more than 8,000 council homes across the city and this directorate is responsible for the management of these, with a focus on increasing the supply of affordable housing, as well as work to tackle homelessness.
Regeneration is focused on growing our local economy, incorporating everything from small business support to encouraging more investment in Lincoln.
