Temporary Event Notices

Apply for a temporary event notice

To apply for a temporary event notice, you must give at least 10 working days* notice for a standard TEN and not less than five or more than nine working days notice for a late TEN, not including the day of receipt by the authority or the day of the event.

You will need to:

Download a temporary event notice form >

  • Complete the temporary event notice form
  • Apply electronically by sending the completed form to licensing@lincoln.gov.uk (Please note the licensing authority will then distribute the form to the Police and Public protection team on your behalf)
  • Make a payment of £21 online using the following link: Pay for a temporary event notice

Alternatively you can apply by sending physical copies as set out below. (Payment should still be made online)  

  • Make three copies of the completed form
  • Keep one copy for your reference

* “working day” means any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday under the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971 (c. 80) in England and Wales
