Garden Waste collection
We offer a paid garden waste collection by subscription. Garden waste is collected year round. Each annual payment covers a 12 month period from July to June.
For currently subscribed customers, the collection of your green bins will continue until the renewal date.
Using your garden waste wheelie bin
What can be disposed of in your green bin:
- Grass cuttings
- Leaves
- Hedge trimmings
- Flowers
- Weeds
- Natural Christmas Trees
Collection details
We provide a garden waste collection service and this usually runs from 1st July to 30th June.
- Bins are emptied on a fortnightly basis (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
- This service is provided throughout the year
- Bins must be presented at the kerbside
- Your green bin must have an up-to-date green waste collection sticker in clear view
- Bins must be out by 6:30am on collection day
- All waste must be contained within the bin with the lid closed
New Customers
- If you did not buy a garden waste collection service sticker in 2024/2025, you will be able to subscribe to the service from 10th April 2024
- You can opt in for garden waste collections part way through the year, but there is no reduction to the cost
- Your subscription to the service will end on 30th June 2025.
- We will endeavour to deliver your Garden Waste Sticker within 10 working days.
Garden Waste Collection Prices
- £39 per year for your first bin
- £15 per year for additional bins to be collected (up to a maximum of four bins per property)
- £15 for a new bin to be sent to your property
