  • Both chapels offer a space to display floral tributes following a service. The flowers will remain displayed in the area for 7 days, following this period, tributes will be removed and recycled.

Garden of Remembrance

  • The Garden of Remembrance is a natural area in the grounds of the Crematorium where ashes can be buried. To help with your decision in choosing a burial location in the Garden, it is split into areas which denote years and months. The areas start in November 1968 and continue through to the present day. Some choose to lay their loved ones ashes to rest in an area that corresponds to a date of significance to them (birthday, anniversary, etc.), whilst others simply choose an area that appeals to them, such as near to a tree they like.
  • We keep a permanent register of all burials in our Garden or Remembrance, allowing families to reunite loved ones in the same areas if they wish to do so.
  • The Garden of Remembrance is a natural area, because of this we do not allow headstones, plaques, windchimes, plants/trees, markers or similar and request that flowers are left without packaging or wrapping.
  • Unpermitted items left in the area will be removed and placed in safe storage for 6 months ready for collection.
