Household Support Fund
Applications to Household Support Fund 7 have now closed and the Household Support Fund Scheme has ended.
City of Lincoln Council worked in partnership with a range of local organisations to deliver this and help meet the needs of our community. A portion of the funding was delivered through an online and telephone application process.
If you applied to the fund before the 31 March 2026 and your claim is successful you will receive a voucher code by email or text message. If your claim has been rejected, you will receive an email to let you know the reason why.
If you are in crisis and need emergency support with a food parcel, please contact our Welfare Team on 01522 873382, they can make a referral to a local foodbank on your behalf. If you are in crisis due to a loss of income and you cannot cover your essential household bills – email your name, address and telephone number to costofliving@lincoln.gov.uk you will then be asked to provide further evidence.
The government has announced that there will be a new Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) to provide emergency support to eligible residents. The primary objectives of the fund are to provide a safety net for those on low incomes who encounter a financial shock. And to invest in building local financial resilience to reduce the need for crisis support in the long-term. Local authorities are currently reviewing the guidance provided by the government and are considering the best way to support households in Lincolnshire. Further details will be published here once available.
