Welcome to Lincoln Crematorium

Lincoln Crematorium was opened in November 1968 and has been proudly serving the residents of Lincoln and beyond ever since. The Crematorium is set in our Garden of Remembrance, a beautiful established woodland area designed to provide visitors a peaceful and dignified area in which to lay their loved ones’ ashes to rest, as well as a place to reflect and remember anyone who they have lost.

The building itself is a mix of traditional architecture with modern facilities, and the Chapels are designed to facilitate all types of funeral service, allowing people to remember and celebrate the life of their loved one in their own unique way.

We are proud to say that, following an audit in October 2026, Lincoln Crematorium has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities, achieving a score of 99.3%.
