Lincoln Housing Strategy 2020-2025
Our vision for housing is as follows:
“A quality affordable home in which people can feel safe and thrive is a fundamental element in creating a positive community and enhancing society as whole. We will do
everything possible to meet housing demand and improve standards across all tenures in the city.”
Our Housing Strategy sets out how we will work together with our partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors to meet housing demand and improve standards across all tenures in the city. Together with Vision 2025, the Housing Strategy supports the delivery of the Council’s Strategic Plan and provides the framework to deliver our housing priority objectives:
- Objective 1: Providing housing which meets the varied needs of our residents
- Objective 2: Building sustainable communities
- Objective 3: Improving housing standards for all
