Lincolnshire Real Nappy Network

The Lincolnshire Real Nappy Network was set up by a group of passionate and dedicated mums (but dads are welcome too) who are on hand to offer advice and support on using cloth nappies.

Whether you are a complete novice, an expert looking for some advice or even if you just want a quick chat about your favourite brands, the volunteers are on hand to provide knowledgeable tips and information, all have used cloth nappies on their own children and are happy to help where they can.

They can provide a trial bucket available for parents to borrow for up to 3 weeks. The bucket consists of a variety of flat nappies, shaped nappies and all in one nappies in a range of brands and colours (including Little Lamb and BumGenius). The bucket also comes equipped with an information pack on how to care for the nappies as well as some frequently asked questions.

The real nappy trial buckets have been developed by Lincolnshire Real Nappy Network volunteers, and have been funded by Lincolnshire County Council. It aims to give you the opportunity to try out a range of different types and styles of cloth nappy, in the hope that you will decide that they are a viable alternative to disposables.

With talks at children’s centres and at antenatal classes and demonstrations on request, the Lincolnshire Real Nappy Network is a fantastic resource and the volunteers should be able to help you find the right brands and styles of cloth nappies to suit your baby, your lifestyle and your budget.
