How we protect your data

Data protection laws state we must

  • use your data fairly, lawfully and be open with you about how we use it
  • use your data for a particular purpose and not do anything which is incompatible with this unless permitted by law
  • keep your data accurate and delete any inaccuracies without delay
  • obtain from you only the data which is necessary for the purpose
  •  keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose
  • store your data safely and securely 

We are also required to keep records of what we use your personal data for and how we protect it, so we are accountable. 

Data Protection laws include the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable laws relating to the processing of personal data.

You can help us protect your personal data by informing us of any change in your details as soon as possible such as your address or contact details and by informing us of any inaccuracies in your data.
